Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I have eaten here many times. The food is simple and tasty. The service is efficient and friendly. I often get the pick 2, but request they put both items together to save on garbage. I really like the soft tacos and quesadillas.

We were on our way back to chicago, we stopped here for lunch. The service was quick and friendly - got free chips, guac and spicy queso. Got a chicken taco bowl. It was good and really heavy.

High quality, QUICK food, not fast food. I really like the pick two options, you can try the entire menu in 3 trips (which didn't take long for me). I also enjoy their "Subway" style taco bar so you don't have to special order anything, you add what you like an skip the rest. It is always very clean and I love their 10,000 drink Coke machine, it even has diet ginger ale!

I always love their food. It's the subway of Mexican cuisine. I have a friend who swears this place is ghetto and that Chipotle's is the only place she'll eat this style of Mexican food, but I can't tell the difference between the two chains. This particular location is very clean (I've never been in a disgusting Qdoba's) and the food is delicious. The price is great for the quality you're getting, too. This is NOT Taco Bell.

I like Qdoba a lot, and go here once per week. But I am giving it a 3 star review because of the inconsistency of their portions. One week I will get a very generous portion, then the next it will be almost half. And they usually skimp on the rice and beans, which has to be the cheapest ingredients in the burrito. Is it worth saving a nickel in rice but leave your customers hungry? And this doesn't even include the dreaded "torn burrito shell". If they tear your shell while trying to fold it up, they will toss the old one along with about 15% of the ingredients and put a new shell on it. I've gotten burritos that were as small as a taco bell burrito after a tear. And they tear the shell about every 4th time I go. Get it together, Qdoba! I will amend this review if I notice more consistent generous portions that are in line with Chipotle.

I've visited this location four times in the last three weeks (I'm a qdoba addict) and I have been consistently disappointed with the service. Yes, the food is still delicious and that alone will keep me coming back, but the staff here need to step it up. During lunch rush things are most busy, but the staff seems to move so slow and don't pay attention to the order. I mentioned to an employee once four times that I didn't want cheese or sour cream on my burrito. She proceeded to put a generous portion of both on my burrito, and didn't catch the mistake either. On another occasion, my burrito was torn two times in a row even the third time the employee still really struggled. Also, they really struggle here if you have any sort of coupon from corporate or a "qCash" (qdobas electronic gift card). All in all, this location is inferior to other qdoba locations I've frequented. I'll still come back for the amazing food, but the service here needs attention. I don't mean to sound like a snob, but when other patrons in line comment to me under their breath about poor service, I know I'm not alone.
